Yoga

Today I tried something new-Yoga. I decided I wanted to give it a try ages ago but I never actually got round to it (in other words, couldn't be bothered). So today, whilst I was spinning idly in my computer chair, I thought why not. I found a 'real time' video on YouTube, got out my mat and got down to it. Whenever I've seen people doing yoga they've always looked really relaxed and calm, plus they made it look really easy. However, when I tried it I was sweating (gross, I know) in less than 5 minutes!! It's seriously tough; all those poses...exhale facing dawg (I don't know how to spell it), open your heart, inhale this, balls of fire that...GEEEEEZ!! The teacher lady person said it all really calmly as well, all the while holding these ridiciously hard poses. I seriously have a new found respect for people who can actually do yoga now. That shiz is HARD!! Anyway, I'm gonna stick at it (I say this then 2 days later...) hopefully one day I'll be able to hold poses like that.

GOOD NEWS!! =)

I GOT DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL AFTER 12 LONG YEARS!!

I'm sooo happy!!! Basically, they said my back hasn't changed for the past 2 years so I was free to go but if anything happened it was straight back to hospital.

This

means

no more random check ups!
no more waking up early to get some random bus
no more 2 hour bus journeys
no more xrays/blood tests
NO MORE HOSPITAL!!

WOOOOHOOOO!! I still have to take it easy on my back though =)

I CAN DO IT!!

"YAAHHHH TAHHHHHH"
-'I did it' in Japanese. Quoted from Hiro (Heroes)
Ok, so first of all HI!! Haven't blogged for, well, ages but I'm back!! For the past month and a bit i've been trying to learn how to play Mirotic on my Keyboard (for my inspiration see the video below) and now i can finally play it the whole way through and it sound decent. It's still a little dodgy, some bits don't sound quite right just yet but now i'm in my summer holidays i have plenty of time to perfect it. I'm not sure what I should learn next...it's got to be a DBSK song. It's a toss up between Bolero and Love in the Ice. Both songs are so sad a beautiful...
This is what it should sound like...

Song: Mirotic- DBSK (like, duh!!)

Mood: Happy =)

Thank God It's Firday #8

Ok, this image has nothing really to do with this week's TGiF but I really like it!!

  • Exam week is over!!! I've still got one science paper, a spanish listening and oral test to take but apart from that...i'm free!! This year was a new experiance because it was the first time we had exams in a hall (before the were in classrooms). Anyway, now that I don't have to spend my time revising I can catch up on all the k-drama I've been missing out on!
  • Tasnia falling into the pond. Even though I wasn't there I can imagine it in my head-and let me tell you, it's funny ;)
  • Arressested Development Season 2. Ok, season 1 was ridiculously amazing and I never thought that the next season could match it but it does!! Favourite character: Tobias Funke (just because everything he does is epically funny).
  • Class fun day on the quad. So in my last TGiF I mentioned our fun times on the feild as a class but today I experianced something totally new. Fun in the quad. Never before has a giant chess board been so much fun =).
  • This

And how has your week been?

Magic Music Monday

It's Monday even though it doesn't feel like it. I blame to bank 'may day' (?) holiday. I don't actually know if it's May Day but I reckon it's got to be a national holiday, right? Maybe not then...Anyway, from now on I'm going to post a song I think is magical every Monday. Today's song is Lollipop by Big Bang ft 2NE1. If you haven't heard of these guys its probably because you don't listen to Korean pop music (the best pop there is by the way).

WARNING: This song is infectious. It will get in your head!!

What do you think of the song?
